Our two youngest children go bonkers for fluffy white dandelions.
They run around the yard from dandelion to dandelion.
Every time they see a new dandelion that needs blowing on, they squeal like they’ve just found buried treasure.
But to them, these flowers are worth more than gold.
Our daughter proudly gave me a dandelion yesterday.
You would have thought she was giving me a priceless piece of art she had spent weeks making.
The excitement on her face as I graciously thanked her for it put the biggest smile on my face.
Our 2.5 year old son also discovered what happens when you get a fluffy dandelion too close to your mouth too.
“Pfff! Pffffsssst!”
His attempts to spit the fluffy dandelion seeds out of his mouth were fruitless.
He quickly figured out he needed to put his chubby little fingers in his mouth and pull the little white fluff blobs off of his tongue.
