We’ve had three rainy days in a row.
Our kids have been cooped up inside with baseball games getting canceled due to weather.
Tomorrow, the sun will shine again.
Tomorrow is also the big Opening Day for our Little League.
All of these rainy days in a row are making it difficult to pull off all the Opening Day games though.
Thank goodness there are so many good people out there in the world.
To make sure kids finally get to play their baseball, softball and tee ball games tomorrow, parents are stepping up to help.
At 6 o’clock in the morning, parents will be out at the fields using big squeegees to move the rain puddles so the fields can dry out.
The photographer has agreed to still come out to take team pictures before each game.
We may be wading through muddy puddles, but our youngest daughter will get her first ever tee ball picture taken.
I told her how excited Daddy will be to get a coffee cup with her picture on it.
“Noooo! Coffee cups are too boring!!” was her first reply.
