Yesterday, I lost my car keys.
With kids in my car waiting to be driven home from school, I was retracing my steps to find my car keys.
Luckily my sister-in-law was there to save the day.
She came to pick us up and drive us home.
As our youngest kid was busy rolling the windows up and down in her car, I thanked her repeatedly for coming to get us.
She assured me she was happy to help out, and my guilt faded after hearing how sincerely she meant that.
People want to help.
But we can’t receive the help we need unless we ask for it.
Here’s to asking and receiving the help we need,
Lauren
